I think maybe some people minimize it and say it doesn’t matter, not because it’s not important but because it feels hopeless — like no matter how the votes go, Donald Trump and his administration will make sure the republicans get their way.
But I think Trump is hoping people get scared and don’t even try. We have to at least give him something to fight against.
