I’ve seen commentators refer to Christopher Rufo as an “activist.” I suppose he is in the technical sense of the word.
He is on the front lines working for a cause.
But generally when we use the word activist, we’re talking about people who are working for justice and to make the world a better place for human beings.
Rufo’s mission is anti-democratic, authoritarian, and relies on misinformation.
He’s probably the single figure who has done the most to demonize Critical Race Theory (CRT) among the far-right.
