New Book Alert: How to Fight Racism
Today is the release day for Jemar Tisby's second book, "How to Fight Racism."
The past two years of my writing life have been building up to this day. Today is the release day for my second book How to Fight Racism: Courageous Christianity and the Journey toward Racial Justice.
Whenever I talk about racial justice, the most frequent question I get is “What do we do?”
I love this question because it says two things:
We recognize racism is not just a problem of the past but an urgent issue in the present as well.
We want to be part of the solution.
Maybe you’re one of those people. You want to respond to the “fierce urgency of now.” But you’ve attended the conference, watched the documentary, had the meetings and now you’re ready for the next step.
I wrote this book for you.
My hope is that How to Fight Racism is an exercise in prophetic imagination. That it spurs you to new ideas and new actions in the fight against racism.
The book is available today in hard cover, e-book, and audiobook formats. It can be bought wherever books are sold.
If you’ve already got your copy or you are excited for a book like this, I’d love it if you spread the word.

Write a book review and post it on Goodreads or Amazon.
Most importantly, purchase the book between now and next week. (January 5-12). This first seven days is the best opportunity for a new book to get on bestseller lists. I’d love to celebrate such a milestone with you.
Here’s an AUDIO SAMPLE of the first chapter if you’d like to find out more.
Here’s where you can PURCHASE YOUR COPY or a gift for someone else.
The time is long past for compromise and complicity with racism. Let us courageously confront it and build a better future.
