Office Hours Replay
Honoring Black History, Facing the Anti-DEI Crusade, and Finding Strength in Community
Here’s a replay of this month’s office hours.
I spoke at length about how to honor Black History Month rightly. And we discussed how to get ready for a big Black History Month anniversary next year.
The anti-DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) crusade also came up, so I had to rant about that a good bit.
Then the folks there asked some very insightful questions and I did my best to respond.
But these monthly gatherings are about more than content, they are about community.
Under this regime, one of the simplest and yet most profound practices we can engage in is finding fellowship with like-minded people.
These gatherings are an opportunity for us to remind ourselves that in spite of all the bad news in the country and the world, we are not alone in our hunger for righteousness and justice.
