I have no idea what I was thinking doing a 10-part(!) series. It was so much work! But I did it for the students at Christian colleges and for the faculty and staff who want to see racial progress. You can help keep this content coming by becoming a paid subscriber today!

Grove City College. Palm Beach Atlantic University. Taylor University.

All Christian colleges and universities. All institutions that have censored or dismissed their own faculty for teaching about racial justice.

An alarming trend is taking place in Christian higher ed. Administrators are targeting any personnel they deem too “woke” and either silencing or firing them.

The effort to subvert academic freedom and suppress honest dialogue about racism in Christian institutions is often done in the name of resisting what they label “Critical Race Theory.”

In August 2022, I released a 10-part video podcast series called “Those Meddling Kids”: Unmasking the Anti-CRT Crusade in Christian Higher Ed.

While many received this series with gratitude, others contended that the concerns over what I called the “anti-CRT crusade” were overblown. They thought the issue was mostly confined to a few fringe institutions. They were wrong.

With the recent revelations concerning Professor Julie Moore at Taylor University, now is a good time to revisit “Those Meddling Kids” and gain a better understanding of the anti-CRT crusade that is cracking the intellectual and ethical foundations of Christian higher ed.

Listen to episode 1 because it frames the whole series. Then listen in whatever order you like. All of the interviews are packed with well-researched and relevant information.

That series was certainly on point and recent events have proven its relevance to our times, in support of the true work of Christ--which is TRUTH, not distortions, misrepresentation, or outright lies.

Denouncing something by saying it is “woke” is as nonsensical as saying the earth is flat. It is on the same level of foolishness and intellectual dishonesty. Observing how people use the term is one of those things that will save you time in assessing a person’s credibility.

Today’s “Christians” (actually, Christian nationalists) have distorted a term from Black culture, thereby showing disrespect for Black culture. Woke means aware, nothing more. Any other use of the term woke has been invented and distorted by false narratives.
