I’m in Florida, so I know very well the nefarious influence of Rufo whom DeSantis has tasked with leading the conservative charge to remake New College in Sarasota. Rufo is as ruthless as Stephen Miller.
Please speak more on the evil hearted puppetmasters of this regime's madness: Russell Vought and Stephen Miller. What is the root of their cruelty towards regular citizens and minorities?
I would like to thank New College President Richard Corcoran and his associate Christopher F. Rufo. They can always be counted on to throw gasoline on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion fire.
I live and breathe in Sarasota Fl. New College is located less than 5 miles away on Sarasota Bay near the Airport.
President Trump, Project 2025, Gov. Ron DeSantis, and the New College Anti-DEI Cavalry, are currently engaged in a brutish battle to eliminate nearly 1/3rd of the 27 amendments to the U.S. Constitution.
Why? Because DEI has been ratified into law time and again since the original Bill of Rights.
Most of the amendments concern the absolute necessity for DEI. They are often called the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Amendments. The 1st, 2nd, 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 24th and 26th, Amendments guaranteed that all American citizens could stand together as one, drink the same water, and together partake in the business of Government.
Post-mortem thanks to Lyndon Baines Johnson (LBJ) for the 1964 Civil Rights Act and the 1965 Voting Rights Act.
Project 2025 will soon implement Amendment 28. The “Destruction of DEI Order.” DODO for short!
Thanks to the Sarasota Herald Tribune, Corcoran and Rufo have been challenged more than once to a discussion, a debate if you will. But they have too much to lose and nothing to gain by engaging in debate.
Dear Dr., Tisby, Thanks. You will always have our financial support as long as we are alive! My wonderful wife of 46 years has wonderfully shared your mission by either giving away your books or loaning to others. We are praying that New College would accept the challenge that would possibly bring you to Sarasota for a speaking engagement with Mr. Rufo.
Hillsdale College has made Christopher Rufo a distinguished fellow. I wrote the University and asked them how they could make this lying spouter of misinformation could be given any kind of honor. Of course, I never received a response. This is truly a MAGA College as I have seen surveys they send out critical of DEI, Woke, and CRT. No one who truly believes in equailty and democracy should ever attend or take classes from this school. They should not even have an accreditation.
Thanks for this excellent information to help understand our current philosophical trend to Claremont institute thinking and its huge impact on Trumps leadership choices. I will share this with many friends and family to enlighten us from dark and dangerous teaching casting out DEI and similar programs. I am deeply grateful to your sharing this. A family member, my son introduced your website to me. I deeply appreciate your faith based historical fact approach. I am a grateful subscriber to your profound and insightful information. I will share this with my family at dinner tonight!! Blessings to you as you bring out the truth!
Twp days ago Naomi Klein (author of The Shock Doctrine, and Astra Taylor's article, “The Rise of End Times Fascism” was published in The Guardian. It is about “the movement for corporate city states” and the ideology behind it, an ideology of the far right that has become “a monstrous, supremacist survivalism.”
The significance of this article, I want to say, is impossible to exaggerate. I want to bring it the attention to you and the other members of Convocation Unscripted because of its explicit relevance to how extreme Christian apocalypticism has become merged with pure, extreme “secular,” that is, down-to-earth, ideological apocalypticism to drive the day-to-day decisions being taken by the fanatical nihilists who have taken control of America.
The dream, or ideology is to splinter governments and carve up the world into “hyper-capitalist, democracy-free havens under the sole control of the supremely wealthy, protected by private mercenaries, serviced by AI robots and financed by cryptocurrencies.”
Those promoting this movement regard their high-tech private domains as in essence, “fortressed escape pods, designed for the select few to take advantage of every luxury and opportunity for human optimization, giving them and their children an edge in an increasingly barbarous future. To put it bluntly, the most powerful people in the world are preparing for the end of the world, an end they themselves are frenetically accelerating.”
Such a vision is not inconsistent with the notion of “fortressed nations,” or supremacist nation-states becoming “armed bunkers,” which “are brutal in their determination to expel and imprison unwanted humans … and equally ruthless in their willingness to violently claim the land and resources (water, energy, critical elements) they deem necessary to weather the coming shocks.”
This nightmare scenario is the subject of Quinn Slobodian’s book, Crack-Up Capitalism. What Klein and Taylor add to Slobodian, however, is what this secular apocalypticism shares with what the religious variety, “the Christian fundamentalist interpretation of the biblical Rapture.” Not so long ago, Klein and Taylor point out, “it was primarily religious fundamentalists who greeted signs of apocalypse with gleeful excitement about the long-awaited Rapture.” Now, “Trump has handed critical posts to people who subscribe to that fiery orthodoxy,” such as Mike Huckabee, Trump’s ambassador to Israel, who has strong ties to Christian Zionism. Elon Musk, however, “embodies this implosive ethos.” For Musk, “Mars has become a secular ark, which he claims is the key to the survival of human civilization, perhaps via uploaded consciousnesses to an artificial general intelligence.”
Furthermore, Musk and his fellow-nihilists are not content “to just build arks.” “They appear to be doing their best to cause the flood.” As for those who won’t be able to afford a trip to Mars, they are being offered their own bunkers by the likes of Bannon. But Bannon “doesn’t only urge his audience to make their own bunkers. He also advances a vision of the United States as a bunker in its own right, one in which ICE agents stalk the streets, workplaces and campuses, disappearing those deemed enemies of US policy and interest. This bunkered nation lies at the heart of the Maga agenda, and of end times fascism.”
Great article! It's sad that we live in a world where dishonestly rebranding terms and twisting meanings is constantly done by people in power that seemingly have no conscience.
Followed the Wheaton College split over supporting and congratulating their 1998 grad Vought. Am a 1966 grad, and Wheaton is no longer recognisable as the college we attended then. 'Christian' nationalism has infected many more colleges/universities than just New College and Hillsdale College. In Germany we know where this leads - the churches here in the 30s weren't as well funded and organised, but they were as complicit as the white evangelicals in the US now. James Baldwin (The Fire Next Time) quoted Elijah Mohammed as surmising the era of white men would soon be over - tragically, 50 years later it is not so.

That's right. What they're doing at New College is a travesty, and meant to be a blueprint for similar efforts nationwide.
The influences of the Claremont Foundation have ruined Hillsdale College. Watched it for years as it shifted to the radical right.
Indeed. And Hillsdale is responsible for the reprehensible 1776 curriculum.
Thanks for fighting the good fight and running the race 🙏🏻
Appreciate you, Darrell! Gotta make it back to ND this year!

I wish I could explain it. I know sin and evil exist. I also believe they have accepted horrific pseudo-science and biological racism claims.

One should contact New College and ask why?
I know you folks in the New College orbit have seen this up close. I wish people in the rest of the country would pay attention as you have.
