Catch the Replay: Processing the Election and Our Emotions
Preparing for the next presidential administration
It’s been more than a week since the 2024 presidential election, and many of us still feel a sense of disequilibrium.
Yesterday I forgot what day it was and nearly missed an appointment!
The cascade of chaos from the president-elect and his minions has already begun.
I’m still not okay.
Many of you aren’t either.
You’re worried about your well-being and the safety of your neighbors, and children.
But sometimes, especially in moments of mourning, it’s good to gather.
That’s what we did during the Processing the Election and Our Emotions event live online last night.
We had more than 300 people, and the chat was poppin’!
I expanded on this quote…
We need to make structural changes to the way we move in life to have the stamina, fortitude, and vitality to navigate whatever is coming next.
Then I listed three strategies we need for structural change:
Create margin
Cultivate healthy habits
Engage community
I spoke about some tactics we can use to accomplish each of the above.
I also announced that I’ll be in Atlanta with The Convocation Unscripted folks for the Faith and Democracy tour this weekend (11/17).
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Finally, I announced Office Hours—a monthly gathering for paid subscribers to connect and converse. I would love to see you at the next one on December 12 at 8 pm ET!
