I love your work. I am from South Carolina and still vote there, but have been living overseas for more than 20 years. So many people have been asking me about how Trump/Vance treated Zelenskyy, and about the man (I don't know who he was) who asked Zelnesky why he didn't wear a suit, and if he owned a suit. I feel like I need to go around apologizing to everyone I meet. I don't know how to even help from here. People ask me why Christians support Trump and I don't have an answer. Nothing sways his supporters. I believe what Trump said when he said he could stand on 5th Avenue and shoot people and he wouldn't lose a single supporter. It seems like some sort of cosmic brainwashing. I have no more words, and so respect you for not giving up and for keeping on.

I love the way the historic examples are organized around character traits. And I think it is important that you are calm and articulate. You are kind of in the role of a spiritual paramedic first on the scene of a horrible event. You have the burden both of acknowledging the serious nature of the crisis while maintaining your own calm equilibrium so that the rest of us don’t freak out. All of us have to use every bit of our strength to either swim, help others, or at least hold onto a bit of flotsam so we don’t drown.

Since I am 76 years old and the caregiver of my husband who has dementia, I strongly relate to the message from Myrtle Evers-Williams.

I had felt like an old horse sent out to pasture. But the horrific situation we are in has lit the fire in my belly. And not being dependent on a pay check gives me the freedom to speak boldly.

Beautiful and inspiring! I was immediately moved by the testimony of Myrlie Evers. It is important to be reminded of everyday heroes. I will share this with our EMBRACING RACE - The Conversation community and ask them to "start a Conversation". We seek to continue to push the needle forward, working to dismantle racism and white supremacy "one Conversation at a time". Thank you for the excellent resource for dialogue and courage.
