Happy happy birthday! I'm going through the Color of Compromise study (videos/workbook) with a church group in the Denver area. It's been so very helpful and we are so very thankful for you!
I hope you have a delightful birthday! Iβm in the process of reading βThe Color of Compromise.β I will leave a review once Iβve finished reading it. I cannot say I am enjoying this book. As a white person, I find myself grieving over your words. Anger at what has been done to Black people fills my heart, especially when I see the continuing blatant racism in our country. I feel helpless yet Iβm determined to make a difference in some way. Next on my list is Fighting Racism. I hope you know you are making an impact on many lives. I cannot imagine how hard you must work
happy birthday a little late here. I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR BOOK HOW TO FIGHT RACISM. IT IS A FOUNDATION READING FOR CMY CHURCHES COMMITTMENT TO BEING AN ANTI RACIST CHURCH. AS WELL AS YOUR CWORKBOOK WITYITH IT. WE WILL BE USING IT FOR SMAll groups.
Hope youβve enjoyed the day celebrating YOU! The Color of Compromise was a game changer for me. It opened my eyes to reality...Appreciate all your work. Happy Birthday! πππ
Happy Birthday, thank you for your time on the recent ZOOM call with St. Stephen Men's Ministry. It was very enlightening. Home to engage and work more in the Social Justice area with you now that you are at Simmons College of Ky. Of course. loved the "Color of Compromise"- was eye opening and provided some much needed black theological American history insight,.
Happy Birthday!!! I am still so grateful for our multi-church book read and discussion series we did with βThe Color of Compromiseβ and the powerful evening we spent with you over Zoom at the conclusion of that study! Had I realized sooner that you were going to be in Seattle next week, I would have loved to have had you speak in person! But, now Iβm just trying to get everyone to come to the Perkins Lectures! Iβll see you there! I hope you are feeling loved and celebrated todayβyou are a gift!
Happy Birthday. I love your work and feel βHow To Fight Racismβ has changed my life. I carry that book everywhere and tell everyone about it. I read it in a BOOKCLUB and as a result we started a βhow to fight racismβ prayer group where we come together once a month to pray against the stronghold of racism. So thank you for your work.
Happy Birthday! So very thankful for the work you have done and are currently doing. Iβve already completed the first two of your birthday requests. So now I am off to write some reviews. ππ»
