Powerful and so very important. So many other voices attempt to flatten the narrative, distort the perspective or deflect the gaze away from truth. Your voice is like the lemon juice that cleanses and cuts through to clarity and sparks the full flavor to rise up, allowing us to face and learn from the lived experience of our brothers and sisters of color. This is a great video. I think these are helpful for those who learn in different ways. My church is starting to do the work, and any of these videos that allow white people to hear from Black leaders in the church is helpful. Based on this post, I am now going to go back and listen to the videos on image of God. Thank you for htis work.
Yes, please keep making these. Its got to be continually said how those who call themselves Christian yet so blatantly are unloving to their immediate neighbor. I don't get it. Especially in Church while someone is praying.
