This was so powerful and beautiful. Stood in contrast to what later went on in the Capitol and was on-point with what Pres. Biden did in the WH. I was talking to a friend about this meeting and somehow in the conversation she reminded me "people in a cult don't know they are in a cult." sigh...
I just attended the League of Women Voters on-line vigil. Nonpartisan and linked to no religion, the plans are to build a bigger table (sound familiar?), protect voter rights, and educate in order to protect and strengthen our democracy. One comment by one of the speakers - there will never be a time when we can step back and be done with protecting our democracy. I agree. Thank you, Jemar, for your witness!
