I am thankful there are groups in so many denominations working to restore the themes of justice and liberation as central tenants of the Gospel, not peripheral ones.
I’m thinking this is foundational work: perhaps they are actually preparing the new wine skins that the Body will inhabit.
I am hopeful because, as was shared here: the Lord is building his Church.
By-and-large, I do not see my people group much interested in this work. I’ll keep at it but truth is, with or without those who inhabit the status quo-loving councils and boards, justice will roll down like mighty waters.
